I’ll be the first to admit that I was a cloud computing skeptic. I believed in the premise but found it unlikely that organizations would trust a third-party with their data, especially those that must adhere to specific regulations and requirements. Fast-forward a few years and you'll find that organizations across many industries are tossing their data centers aside to utilize a number of cloud services. It's cost savings, flexibility, ease of use, and implementation speed makes it very attractive and frankly a no-brainer. What’s most interesting is that it removes barriers of entry, making it easier for small businesses to compete and helps great ideas come to fruition. Cloud computing has made it possible for many start-ups to establish themselves, so if you have a business idea or project you want to pursue put your head in the clouds.
